National Defense PAC Endorses Steve Pearce

Organization Cites Pearce’s Record on Defense and Veterans’ Issues

HOBBS, NM – The National Defense PAC has endorsed Steve Pearce in the race for New Mexico's second congressional district.

In a press release from Chairman Rear Admiral (Ret.) James J. Carey and Executive Director Colonel (Ret.) Craig Carlson, the PAC based its endorsement on Pearce's support for veterans and active duty personnel during his previous three terms in Congress. From the release:

"Steve is who we want in Congress making decisions that impact our military veterans and today’s young Americans serving in our Armed Forces.  He, as a Vietnam veteran, understands what it takes to train, fight and win.  He also understands the importance of ensuring the decision to commit our military is right before we send our Nation’s most precious asset, our sons and daughters, into harm’s way.”

"I understand the importance of a strong defense and caring for our veterans,” Pearce said. "That is why the endorsement from the National Defense PAC is so important to me. During my years in Congress, I fought for our military, and consistently supported increasing and expanding benefits for veterans."

National Defense PAC is an organization that endorses and promotes military veterans to Congress.
