Pearce Endorsed by US Chamber of Commerce

World’s Largest Business Federation Based Endorsement On Pearce’s “Pro-Business” Record

HOBBS, NM – Today the US Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors, representing the world’s largest business federation, endorsed Steve Pearce for Congress.

In a letter from Chamber President and CEO Thomas J. Donohue, the group based its endorsement on Pearce’s record of support for businesses and fostering a job-creating environment.  From the letter:

“At no other time in our nation’s history has it been more critical that Members of Congress provide leadership that protects and advances the interests of the business community. We believe that your election to the US House will help produce sustained economic growth and help create more jobs.”

“I’m honored and humbled to have the support of such an important organization,” said Pearce. “As a businessman, I have created jobs, and as a legislator, I have always supported policies that will grow our economy, like lower taxes and less government. ”

The US Chamber of Commerce represents the interests of more than three million businesses and associations. In 2008, 213 of the 265 candidates endorsed by the Chamber were elected.
