Receives overwhelming support from delegates

HOBBS, NM - Following the Republican Pre-Primary State Convention on Saturday, former Congressman Steve Pearce made the following remarks.

"I am honored and humbled to have received overwhelming support for our campaign for New Mexico’s 2nd Congressional District. The delegates this weekend were fired up and eager to send someone to Washington who will to address the issues of job creation, cutting wasteful spending and controlling the national deficit that is putting unnecessary burdens on future generations.

"The concerns that I heard this weekend echoed the conversations I have had on the campaign trail the past 7 months.  We will continue to travel all across the district meeting with New Mexicans and talking about how we can fix Washington and put the people’s priorities first."
