Teague Allies Falsely Attack Pearce, Again

Radical Group Continues To Pay Back Teague for His Support of Cap and Trade

HOBBS, NM – The Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund, an extreme group dedicated to passing the job killing cap-and-trade energy tax, launched a 2nd false ad on behalf of Harry Teague.

"As usual, Teague’s liberal allies are intentionally misleading the people of New Mexico, " said Jason Heffley, spokesman for Pearce.

Among the falsehoods, DOWF once again cited a faulty report from Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW). CREW is another liberal group that even admits it botched its investigation and got its facts wrong. Furthermore, newspapers and independent fact checkers have labeled the Defenders of Wildlife’s ads as false. Factcheck.org used terms like  “misleading”, “bum rap”, “no evidence” and “unsubstantiated” to describe the ad and CREW’s story. Even the House Ethics Committee sent Pearce a letter, stating that he filled out his financial disclosure forms correctly.

Heffley continued, “It appears that Harry Teague and his allies will stop at nothing to cover up Teague’s job killing policies and record of failure."
