Teague's Public Schedule Has Open Time

Perfect Opportunity for Debates on the Economy

Will Teague Appear?

HOBBS, NM – Harry Teague announced this week that he will be hosting a series of Small Business Workshops across the 2nd District.  In the interest of letting voters compare each candidate, Steve Pearce offered to accommodate Teague’s already planned tour in order to have joint appearances to debate and discuss the economy.

Pearce issued the following statement,  “Congressman Teague is touting his workshops as a great opportunity for small businesses to get answers to their questions.  What could be more informative for small business owners than a side by side comparison of their two candidates for Congress?”

Teague announced the following workshops:

Monday, August 30, 2010, from 9 – 11 am in Carlsbad

Tuesday, August 31, 2010, from 2 –4 pm in Las Cruces

Wednesday, September 1, 2010, from 9-11 am in Los Lunas

Steve Pearce proposes a one and a half hour side by side forum with live questions coming from the audience and randomly selected by a moderator to discuss small business issues following each of Teague’s workshops.

“I hope Congressman Teague will accept my invitation to debate the issues.  Our economy is struggling and voters deserve to have their questions answered about our plans to get New Mexico working again,” continued Pearce.
